Great and experienced teachers, amazing location and cosy homestay with delicious food. For effective learning experience would recommend their homestay anytime! A plus is the ability to explore Jaipur and access the top historical locations with ease from Jawahar Nagar.

An experience of a lifetime! My first time out of the United States and on my own at 20 years old, HindiHour helped me make such a transition with ease. Shachi and Navin are caring and loving and were a pleasure to be around. I had absolutely no knowledge of Hindi before I got there and by the end of a quick 3 weeks, I was able to read and write in Devanagari, as well as communicate to locals; etc. A fantastic place to learn Hindi, meet people from all over the world, make lasting connections, and explore India.

My 3 weeks of intermediate grogram at Hindi Hour was great! I have tried different courses in Hindi, in India and this is clearly the best. Good prices, good teachers, flexible timings and wonderful food. Shachi is a excellent teacher and she is very good at explaining the grammar clearly. I stayed at home-stay with Shachi and her husband Navin. It is a cozy, warm and loving family. Not only did Shachi help me with my Hindi, she and her husband also took the students out and helped us so we got shopping at good prices. I want to come back. That is for sure.

My husband and I began our Hindi classes with Shachi with virtually no knowledge of the Hindi language. From day one we were engaged and motivated. Shachi's method of teaching is methodically planned out to build further understanding with each class. She offers a highly effective and sensible approach to grasping the language, either in a practical way to simply navigate traveling in India or teaching the complexities in a comprehensive manner. Besides being very gracious and flexible, Shachi is fun and has taught us much about the layers of culture that eluded us as Westerners. We are delighted with our progress thanks to her.

My 3 weeks intermediate program at Hindi Hour was absolutely amazing. Shachi is a passionate teacher who has a lot of experience and knowledge. She will detect really fast what is your weaknesses in he language and will work towards improving them. She is extremely clear in her explanations and is very patient. Aditi (another teacher who works at the school) is also a very good teacher. She also has a passion for teaching and will make you practice conversation, correct you when needed and always encourage you. Other teachers are also very helpful to improve conversational skills. At Hindi Hour, they truly believe that grammar is crucial but that applying the rules you learn in your classes in everyday conversation (without being shy of making mistakes, or anxious) is as important. I can say that I am now confident in speaking Hindi and that is truly because of the 3 weeks course.

A wonderful, friendly environment in which to learn Hindi. Shachi and her family went out of their way to make me and the other students feel welcome and secure. They fed us FANTASTIC food, answered all our questions with a great amount of knowledge and helpful advice, and helped us settle into and get the most out of life in Jaipur. We were included in some lovely family outings and made to feel very welcome. The teaching was mostly very good, and I feel like my Hindi improved, especially in terms of speaking and conversation.

I have been a language teacher for many years, so it was a real treat to find myself on the other side of the classroom, in such extremely good hands ! Shachi and her team are real professionals; they combine a great knowledge of how to teach with a genuine warmth and plenty of encouragement : a recipe for success !
— Alison, France
are a superb teacher and I am beyond pleased and amazed with how
much I learned in two weeks time. The clarity that you bring while
instructing enabled me to grasp concepts that I was unable to understand
my entire time of living in India. Thank you for your patience,
encouragement and discipline you have shown in your teaching...
— Sophia, USA
Thank you so much. Brilliant food, brilliant sightseeing advice,
brilliant shopping trips and a brilliant teacher! You have given
me such a warm welcome in Jaipur, and I will leave with so many
happy memories (the evening at the temple is a highlight). I am
so grateful to Shachi for her very patient assistance as I struggled
with the basics of (English!) grammar. A special thank you for
the warm welcome you gave my father. Your hospitality surely knows
no bounds. I am sure you will be seeing me again!

I have had quite a few Hindi teachers in India - but you are far
the best. The way of teaching is very clear and structural and it
is first time that I got the hope that one day I will be able to
have a fluent conversation. The accommodation and your classrooms
are very good.
— Petra, Germany
Shachi's structured teaching methodology and drive for her students to attain the highest quality of Hindi knowledge well-exceeded my expectations. I would recommend her to anyone striving to increase their skills both professionally or for fun.

Spending so much time living abroad in foreign countries can be
quite difficult. Thank you for making it easy. You have made me
feel absolutely at home and that is worth everything. You have all
consistently gone above and beyond the call of duty to make our
stay as amazing as possible. Whatever comes in my next three months
in India I have no doubt this will be a highlight of my trip. Spending
time with your wonderful family was an unforgettable experience
and I hope to come back for more lessons and more laughs as soon
as possible. I am especially grateful to all of you for making my
first birthday away from home such a delight...

Recently I went to Ms Shachi for 5 Hindi lessons. She is a qualified language
tutor. Her teaching is very clear, articulate and her knowledge of English
and Hindi grammar is excellent. She taught me using vocabulary lists,
common phrases, hindi text book and picture books. Next time I go to
Jaipur I will surely visit Ms Shachi for more Hindi lessons.
— Jillian, Australia
— Sarah, Germany
She was extremely warm, patient, and encouraging. Her methods for sharing course materials online are very straightforward and efficient, and she prioritizes my interests as a student by asking for feedback about exercises. At one point, I asked if she could provide an exercise wherein I only saw the devanagari version of the sentences and not the latinization, and she immediately provided an exercise that satisfied that request.
— Lindsay, USA
Shachi's teaching style is extremely personalized - she
quickly gauges each individual's level and speed at learning. She
methodically goes through different vocabulary, grammar, and idiomatic
points and provides ample time for conversation.
— Anjali, USA
Shachi is an excellent teacher and her lesson is very interesting.
She is kind and she can easily understand the needs of her student
as regards hindi learning.
— Maria, Greece
Helpful tips on breaking down complex, written
Hindi sentences. Shachi explains Hindi in methods that are understandable
to an English speaker and she is aware of the areas where Hindi presents
challenges to adult learners.
— Erik, UK
you for your kindness for 3 weeks! Now I think I want to learn Hindi
more in this school and stay India. I'll come back.
— Goro, Japan
you Shachi for your most tested patience during these 3 weeks with
an absent minded woman from the far north. It's been a pleasure.
